The Sour Grape

A wonderful sparkling verjuice cocktail that has a wonderful hint of orange and is not too sweet or tart. I recommend enjoying with my oysters verjuice or the canapés of your choice.

Ingredients

  • 100mls verjuice
  • 1 teaspoon icing sugar
  • 30mls vodka
  • 30mls Cointreau
  • 100mls sparkling water
  • Orange zest for garnish

Method

  1. Add verjuice & icing sugar to a cocktail mixer and stir until combined.
  2. Add ice to cocktail mixer.
  3. Add vodka & Cointreau and stir through.
  4. Strain using cocktail mixer into a cocktail glass.
  5. Top up with sparkling water.
  6. Garnish with Orange zest.
